Washington, DC – Today the Postal Regulatory Commission issued Order No. 2623 to address issues presented in the exigent rate case that was recently remanded to the Commission by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers v. Postal Regulatory Commission, 2015 WL 3513394 (D.C. Cir. June 5, 2015).

Postal Service’s 2014 Performance Goals and 2015 Performance Plan: PRC recommends ways to meet goals and better assess performance
Washington, DC – In a report issued today, the Postal Regulatory Commission examines the Postal Service’s fiscal year 2014 program performance report and fiscal year 2015 performance plan. The Commission is mandated by statute to review the Postal Service’s goals and make findings as to whether the Postal Service has met those goals and offer any recommendations regarding the protection or promotion of public policy objectives.

PRC Establishes Procedural Schedule for Exigency Remand; Suspends 45 Day Notice Requirement for Removal of Exigent Surcharge
Washington, DC – The Postal Regulatory Commission today issued Order No. 2540, establishing Docket No. R2013-11R to consider issues on remand related to the exigency surcharge. All comments and other documents must be filed under this docket.
