    Washington, DC – In testimony presented before the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on January 21, 2016, during a postal hearing titled “Laying Out the Reality of the United States Postal Service,” Acting Chairman Robert G. Taub outlined the Commission’s analysis of the various challenges that contribute to the Postal Service’s current financial condition.

    Washington, DC – Today the Postal Regulatory Commission released the dates for its quarterly public meetings for calendar year 2016. The meetings allow the general public an opportunity to hear from Commission leadership about the activities undertaken by the Commission throughout the year.

    All portions of the public meetings that are open to the general public are held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on:

    Washington, DC – The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) voted unanimously in December to designate Commissioner Nanci E. Langley as vice chairman of the PRC effective January 1, 2016. PRC regulations provide that the commissioners elect a member to serve as vice chairman for a term of one year. Commissioner Langley succeeds Commissioner Tony Hammond.

    Washington, DC – The Postal Regulatory Commission today announces the appointment of Stacy L. Ruble as Secretary and Chief Administrative Officer. In his new role, Mr. Ruble will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Commission’s Office of Secretary and Administration which provides management and staff support to the Commission’s operational offices. Mr.
