Who May Serve
Who May Serve as a PR
Any member of the Commission staff may serve as PR. The PR is generally a Commission attorney or analyst recommended to serve in the PR role by the Commission’s General Counsel and/or Director of the Office of Accountability and Compliance (OAC) and approved by the Commission. A case may have a single PR or a multiple member PR team with a designated lead PR.
The PR on a particular case remains the PR for the life of that case. Under certain circumstances, a PR may be relieved of his or her PR status should the PR become unable to continue in the role or a potential conflict of interest arise, and another PR may be assigned.
